Cornell Cooperative Extension Franklin County Cornell Cooperative Extension Associations and the New York City office provide 56 portals to Cornell University.

The nationwide network of Cooperative Extension programs began in 1914 as a means of applying land-grant university research in understandable and useful ways to farmers and rural families. Today, Cooperative Extension serves urban, suburban, town and rural areas by offering programs in five broad areas: Agriculture & Food Systems; Children, Youth, & Families; Community & Economic Vitality; Enviro

nment & Natural Resources; and Nutrition & Health. Cornell Cooperative Extension operates on the Cornell campus through the leadership of faculty and staff in departments in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Human Ecology, with contributions from the College of Veterinary Medicine. Extension educators in these locations form powerful community-university partnerships with the Cornell campus, and involve local constituents to address the issues and concerns of New Yorkers.

🐄🍓🍌Since June HOM is DAIRY - students at St. Regis Falls Central School tried Strawberry Banana smoothies with NYS milk and yogurt and had Mac & Cheese with NYS milk as well!

🐶💛 THERAPY DOGS ARE COMING TO 4-H Camp Overlook! 💛🐶

These amazing pups will be there to welcome campers, offering comfort, calm, and lots of tail wags right when it’s needed most.

👉 Drop-off day: Helping ease those first-day jitters and making goodbyes a little easier
👉 Mid-week visit: Back on Wednesday for a boost of confidence and a whole lot of puppy love

Because sometimes, all it takes is a furry friend to help campers feel brave, supported, and ready to dive into an unforgettable week.

💕 This is more than just fun—it’s about supporting emotional well-being in the most heartwarming way possible.

🌽✨ Did You Know? CCE Franklin County Does So Much More Than You Think! ✨🌽

Many people don’t realize just how much Cornell Cooperative Extension of Franklin County brings to our community — and we’re proud to shine a light on it! 💡

From wild edible walks 🌿and food preservation workshops 🥫 to soil testing services 🌱and creating community gardens; we’re helping residents connect with the land and build practical skills every day.

We’re also investing in the future through our robotics clubs 🤖, 4-H programs 🐄, and the amazing experiences offered at Camp Overlook 🏕️.... And let’s not forget our after-school programs in Chateaugay and Brushton-Moira, where students learn, grow, and discover new passions! 🎓

We are feeling incredibly grateful for this amazing community! 💚

Because of your generosity and support, every camper who applied received a scholarship this year—opening the door for more youth to experience the magic of 4-H Camp Overlook 🌲✨

There is truly nothing like a summer at camp, and we are so excited to welcome both new and returning campers for what is shaping up to be our best summer yet!

🎉 There’s still time to join the fun! Spots are still available, and we would love to have you be part of it.

Come see what camp is all about at our Open House on June 20th from 12pm–4pm! Enjoy camp-friendly snacks, delicious ice cream from Bokie’s 🍦, and meet some special animal friends who will be joining the festivities.

EXCITING NEWS! 4-H is presenting a 3-Day STEM Robotics Camp at 4-H Camp Overlook! Youth going into grades 4-7 will learn to build FLL Lego Competition Robots and youth going into Grades 8-12 will design/code/and build a FTC Competition Robot! Love Technology? Love Competition? This camp is for you! 3-D printing Too! All the camp fun activities of kayaking, canoeing, campfires, GaGa Ball, low ropes challenges! Space is limited! Questions?
