Our programs focus on providing specific occupational educational opportunities to qualified working students. HHCP's unique approach to education enables more participants to access these opportunities. Our students are afforded the opportunity for a life changing career.

✨ Scholar Spotlight: Destiny Smith ✨

Destiny Smith, a CNA at Veteran Village, is currently pursuing her LPN with support from HHCP.

Inspired by her love for caring for the elderly, Destiny is working hard to further her healthcare career while balancing nursing school, work, and motherhood.

“Nursing school has made me stronger mentally and emotionally. I used to doubt myself, but now I believe in my ability to succeed and reach my goal of becoming an LPN.”

June 11-17 marks Certified Nursing Assistant Week. We’re celebrating the compassionate, hardworking CNAs who are often the heart of patient care. 🤍

For many HHCP scholars, becoming a CNA is the very first step in their healthcare journey. It’s where they gain hands-on experience, build confidence, and discover their passion for caring for others.
