Join us for a final build of the year. We will having a bed build on December 5th in Danville. The build will begin at 8:00 am and end at 2:00 pm. Use this link to sign-up to volunteer.

At SHP, we fully believe that a bed is a basic need for the proper physical, emotional and mental support that a child needs. We are building 75 beds at WorkSource to get kids off the floor and into their own beds

Sleep in Heavenly Peace – Mahomet is looking for volunteers to help us deliver beds to children who don't have a bed of their own.

🚚 We need YOU to help us deliver!

There is nothing quite like seeing the excitement on a child's face when they realize they have a bed of their very own. ❤️ For some children, it's the first time they've ever had a bed to call their own. That moment when they see their new bed, climb onto the mattress, or hug their new pillow reminds us why we do what we do.

We aren't just delivering beds. We're delivering comfort, security, better sleep, and the message that every child deserves a safe, comfortable place to lay their head at night. 💤

You don't need special skills or experience—just a willing heart and a desire to make a difference!

Bedlessness isn't a real word. But for millions of kids, it's a very real problem.

Behind closed doors, children are sleeping on floors, couches, and piles of blankets, or sharing a bed with siblings. It's called child bedlessness, also known as bed poverty, and because it happens where no one can see it, it's easy to miss.

At Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we're changing that. Volunteers with 430+ SHP chapters across the country build and deliver beds for kids who need them, made possible by generous donors and partners. And we believe no family should feel ashamed to ask for one.
