From places where families gather and kids play to improvements that help keep our community safe, the Mahomet Community Foundation is proud to have supported projects that make a difference.

A few of those projects include:
• Barber Park Splash Pad & Amphitheatre
• Middletown Park Tennis Courts
• Bridle Leash Pathway Extension
• Mahomet Police Department Body Cameras

These projects are more than just improvements to our community. They're investments in the people who live here and the generations who will call Mahomet home in the future. This is what the Mahomet Community Foundation is all about. Connecting people who want to give back with opportunities to make a meaningful difference right here at home.

Good neighbors make great communities!

In honor of Good Neighbor Day, we’re celebrating the connections that make the places we live and work better.

Challenge yourself to do one neighborly thing today: introduce yourself to someone new, offer a helping hand, check in on a neighbor, or simply take the time to say hello.

Gratitude turns what we have into enough.

This World Gratitude Day, let's take a moment to reflect on the people who inspire us, the lessons that strengthen us, and the everyday moments that bring us joy.

What a day, and what a community!

After Mother Nature forced us to reschedule our 5th Annual President’s Fundraiser Golf Outing, we were grateful to finally get back on the course at Lake of the Woods.

Thank you to everyone who was able to join us on the rain date, and to those who supported the outing even when the new date meant they could no longer attend. Your generosity still made a difference.

We also owe a huge thank you to our sponsors. From our presenting sponsor, Copper Creek Contractors, cart sponsors Unlimited Homes
and Clark Dietz, Inc. , meal sponsor Fisher National Bank and gift sponsor First State Bank of Forrest-Mahomet Branch to every hole sponsor and business that contributed to the day, your support helps make this fundraiser possible and allows the Mahomet Community Foundation to continue investing in our community.

And one more great moment from the day: congratulations to our scratch-off winner, Tim Miller, who generously donated his winnings right back to the Mahomet Community Foundation. Thank you, Tim!

To our golfers, sponsors, volunteers, donors, and everyone who helped us navigate a rainout and still make the day a success, thank you. We appreciate you sticking with us and, most importantly, supporting the Mahomet community.

A little something for the golf bag!
Every golfer at today’s Mahomet Community Foundation President’s Fundraiser Golf Outing received an umbrella and a ball marker. After waiting out one rain date, we figured the umbrellas were a pretty appropriate gift.
Now, let’s golf!

Today is finally the day!

After a little help from Mother Nature in changing our original plans, the Mahomet Community Foundation’s 5th Annual President’s Fundraiser Golf Outing is officially underway at Lake of the Woods Golf Course.

We’re looking forward to a great day of golf, games, prizes, lunch, and plenty of time with the golfers, sponsors, and supporters who help make this event possible.

Most importantly, every swing helps support the Mahomet Community Foundation and our work to invest in projects and initiatives that strengthen the Mahomet community.

Thanks to everyone who stuck with us through the rain delay. Let’s have a great day on the course!
