The WCM Awards Luncheon was so much fun on Tuesday, May 12. The Hospitality Committee organized a tea party, served hot tea, and arranged for hors d’oeuvres from C&C, which were delicious!
Nadean Young acted as president since Kim was out of town.
Sandra Aiken (last year’s recipient) and Nadean announced this year’s Faye Florida Award winner: Gail Eveland.
Gail Eveland announced this year’s Carrie Stewart Award winner: Rhonda Clark.
Both ladies are so deserving and exemplify the goals of WCM.
Diana Luck presented membership pins to Toni Wortham, 10 years, and Mary Jo Bauer, 20 years.
Amy Smith, past president of GFWC KY, installed the 2026-2028 officers: Karen Cunningham, President; Angela Carter, President Elect; Kelley Sawyer, 1st VP; Kelly Volkmar, 2nd VP/Membership; Regena Pollard, Recording Secretary; Tricia Noel, Treasurer; and Diana Luck, Corresponding Secretary/Publicity. Faye Florida was appointed Parliamentarian and Linda Thomas was appointed Historian.
Linda Thomas reported the progress on our three-time national award-winning environment project—the bicycles.
