🌟 Meet Board Member Ashley Hunt 🌟
We’re excited to continue introducing the dedicated leaders who guide Morgan Cares Center!
Today we’re highlighting Ashley Hunt, a valued member of our Board of Directors and a longtime real estate professional with Madison Realty here in Madison.
With more than 20 years of experience serving clients throughout Georgia, Ashley brings strong local knowledge, a heart for community, and a deep commitment to helping others. She is actively involved in Morgan County as an Elder at Madison Presbyterian Church and has long supported local youth through the Madison-Morgan County Boys & Girls Club.
We’re grateful for Ashley’s wisdom, generosity of time, and passion for serving our neighbors. Her presence on the board strengthens our ability to provide practical help and hope to families in need.

🌟 Together, we changed a future. 🌟
This morning a recent Morgan County graduate needed $3,005 by today or she would lose her college spot. She’s most likely the first in her family to go — and dreams of becoming a teacher.
Through a final grant, a local company’s $500 donation, community gifts, a computer, and shopping for dorm essentials, everything came together. She leaves Thursday ready for her new beginning.
This is what community looks like.

🌟 Good News from Fifth Street Community Garden! 🌟
The “Our Daily Bread” bed is producing! 🌱🥕🍅
Thanks to the faithful work of our partners at Fifth Street Community Garden, fresh vegetables are now ready for those in our community who need them. This special bed was created with the heart behind its name — “Take what you need, share what you can.”
If you or someone you know is facing food insecurity, please feel free to visit the garden at 664 Fifth Street in Madison and harvest from the Our Daily Bread bed. No questions asked — just God’s provision through caring hands.
We are so thankful for this beautiful partnership that allows Morgan Cares Center to help meet both physical and spiritual needs in Morgan County.

🌟 Back to School Rally – Saturday July 18🌟
Mark your calendars! The annual Back to School Rally is happening Saturday, July 18th from 9 AM – 11 PM at Morgan County High School.
Come join the fun as we help kick off the new school year with excitement and support for our families!
Morgan Cares Center will have a table again this year, just like last year — filled with colorful school supplies, backpacks, and resources to help families get ready for a strong start. Stop by, say hello, and see how we’re supporting education and hope in Morgan County!
