This week has been a busy one for our FFA students. Aniyah Ray competed in the Farm Bureau Speech Contest where she won and will move on to districts next week. President Brett Harper and Secretary Jacob Churchwell traveled to Chapter Presidents Conference in Kissimmee to learn about unlocking their voice in leadership. And our animal science students learned the importance of animal identification and practice their branding skills before we use them on live animals.

Doors open early. Program begins at 6:30 p.m.
This year's clinic features speakers from Lindner's, Sunglow, and Primo with practical feeding tips and proven strategies to help you get the most from your swine.

New this year: Weight Judging Contest
1-2 teams per county
Winning team takes home $250
Entries must be turned in by 6:30 p.m. - arrive early

A pulled pork dinner will be served, including pulled pork sandwiches, coleslaw, and desserts.

Come learn, compete, and connect with fellow producers.

🌱 Planting the Seeds for Something Great! 🌱

Our Agriculture Program is feeling extra grateful! 💚

We were recently blessed with a BIG donation of seeds and planting supplies to help our students get their hands dirty and put their agricultural knowledge into action. 🌻🥕🌽

These supplies will give our students opportunities to learn about seed selection, planting, germination, crop production, and so much more—all through real, hands-on experiences! 🧑‍🌾👩‍🌾

Summer has been busy with FFA activities! Last week we had 6 members who traveled to Florida FFA Forestry Camp. They learned dendrology, diseases, disorders, timber cruising, compass and pacing, and how to read maps. This was a lot packed into a short time but well worth the trip. Pailyn Page was the top returning camper at camp!

It might be summer but we have members who are busy with their SAE projects. Kloie Page and Brenden Warren traveled with their cattle to Perry Georgia for the Georgia Beef Futurity. They both did well against stiff competition. Levi Phillips is represent the FFA at the Dairy Goat National Shows in Massachusetts!

This past week was one to remember! The chapter officers traveled to the 98th Florida FFA State Convention to represent Madison County. Our members learned about leadership, making moments happen, voted in our new district and state officers, received the Chapter SAE awards and celebrated the members receiving their State and American Degrees.
