Yesterday in all my busyness, I forgot to post this!!!But I wake up thinking of these folks everyday……because they showed up for us!!!They are part of my everyday thoughts and prayers……because who shows up for them???I pray they know that me and mine surely will!!!In our most vulnerable moment they came running……and they didn’t stop at showing up because they HAD to!!I hate hearing “that’s their job”….so whose job is it to protect their mental health???Instead you hear people complaining, condemning and not acknowledging the sacrifice that “their job” can’t pay for at the end of the day, if they don’t come home!!LIFE IS PRICELESS”!!I have worked hard to bring data driven trainings and signature talks to communities to bring awareness for this group, because they mean something to me, as does the mental well being of first responders around the world…IF YOU ARE A PRAYING PERSON PRAY FOR THEM TODAY…..they enforce laws governed by the states……but they r human beings at the end of the day…….walking into the world with uncertainty of what each day brings…….TODAY (and everyday) WE THANK THEM FOR SHOWING UP!!!THEIR LIVES MATTER!!!YOU MATTER!!!EVERY LIFE MATTERS!!!

We’d like to take a moment to share one of a few youth initiatives that Christophers Message is proud to support…..The Madison Youth Soccer league holds a place in our hearts because my own children have all enjoyed the game of soccer as well as Lincoln and a bunch of my daycare babies, but knowing Meghan and Bo had their hearts in it made sense for us to be in it, Christopher loved them and their children, they were a part of his life and we love them….Did you know that playing soccer helps improve a child's mental health by reducing stress, building confidence, and fostering social connections. It’s an endorphin release, it cuts screen time and children can gain a coping mechanism as they learn to manage pressure, process frustration and channel that energy into positivity. We love going to the soccer field and watching all the teams learn teamwork and learn through inclusion, a sense of belonging and not isolation!!!Here are just some of our outings with Madison Youth Soccer we can’t wait to get Claire out there to run off some of that energy next year……until then she’ll keep the sidelines busy watching her “Frands” play…..We hope that this season, everyone can come out and support this wonderful extracurricular activity with some of Madison County’s young people!!!💜🩵 YOU MATTER!!!

Today we remember 9/11…..
9/11 changed Americans’ perceptions about their sense of security, the threat of terrorism, and their place in the world, and the attack’s impact on the mental health of a Country!! War trauma and PTSD after watching the events unfold on television, or even being part of the search and recovery aspect, rose to an all time high, let’s remember these folks as well…….we don’t all have the same mind capacity, we should remember this when dealing with anyone that is struggling to stay the course…….YOUR LIFE MATTERS!!!YOU ARE VALUABLE!!YOU ARE LOVED!!!💜🩵May we never forget!!!❤️🤍💙

Today is World Su***de Prevention Day , the IASP and the WHO have used the “Changing the narrative” theme since 2024, in an effort to reduce stigma, encourage open conversations, and promote action and support systems worldwide…At Christopher’s Message we have taken action since 2022, after our own loss , to educate not only ourselves through numerous trainings but others willing to “change the narrative”, through hosting events (including youth initiatives) , holding signature talks (customized to the group we visit), and trainings for agencies (expanding our reach in 2027) with the goal of spreading the prevention word, and sprinkling hope wherever we go!!!We are advocates for the use of 988 and in our own region we are a part of the 211 of the big bend resource database!!!in honor of today please print this FREE printable and put it up at your workplace or around town so others can find a bit of hope…..it may be just the “SIGN” that someone needs….You become an advocate anytime u like and share, because others SEE that (the good part about social media) Thank you to all who have liked, shared and participated in our journey, it takes a village is the truest statement on this walk!!!We are appreciative and want you to know that YOUR LIFE MATTERS!!!!💜🩵you are valuable and you are loved!!!!If you would like more information on any of our initiatives please feel free to contact us at www.christophersmessage.com
