The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office Animal Services Division is seeking a compassionate, dependable individual to join our team as a Part-Time Kennel Technician.

As a Kennel Technician, you will help care for dogs, cats, and other animals housed at our facility by:

🐶 Feeding and watering animals
🐱 Cleaning kennels and maintaining facility sanitation
🐾 Walking and exercising animals
💊 Assisting with medications and monitoring animal health
❤️ Providing compassionate daily care and attention
👥 Supervising inmate workers assigned to the facility

Position Details
• Part-Time Position
• Starting Pay: $14.00 per hour
• Additional compensation may be available based on previous experience

Minimum Qualifications
✔ Must be at least 18 years old
✔ High School Diploma or GED
✔ Valid Driver’s License
✔ Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
✔ Good moral character and strong work ethic

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with animals, isn’t afraid of hard work, and takes pride in providing excellent care for animals in need.

The Suwannee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a qualified and motivated professional to serve as our Finance Manager.

This position serves as the principal operational and supervisory support to the Finance Director and functions as the second-in-command within the Finance Department. The Finance Manager plays a critical role in ensuring financial accountability, operational continuity, and fiscal stewardship across the agency.

💰 Salary: $48,000 - $53,000 (Based on Experience)

Responsibilities include:
• Financial Operations Management
• Accounts Payable & Cash Management
• Internal Controls & Compliance
• Budget and Financial Reporting Support
• Leadership and Supervisory Responsibilities
• Continuity of Operations Support

Minimum Qualifications:
✔ Must be at least 18 years of age
✔ Valid Driver’s License
✔ Good moral character
✔ Ability to pass a background investigation and drug screening
✔ No felony convictions
✔ No misdemeanor convictions involving perjury or false statements
✔ No dishonorable discharge from the Armed Forces of the United States
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration OR qualifying professional experience that may substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education
✔ Minimum three (3) years of accounting experience with an emphasis in accounts payable and cash management

Preferred Qualifications:
✔ Fixed Assets experience
✔ Payroll experience
✔ Tax reporting experience
