We had a cooking class this morning and scrambled eggs, fried bacon and made toast and it was all Delicious!!! We decorated for fall and then pulled the weeds in the flower bed and added fall decorations. We have accomplished a lot already! We at The Arc Big Bend hope you have a Fabulous Day! 🎃 🍁 🍂 🍃

Thank you to Lynette Sirmon at All Realty Services for again rejoining Friends of The Arc Big Bend with another generous donation for a second year. All funds received will go directly to supporting clients in our Life Skills Development Center.

We went on a field trip to Valdosta.
We went shopping at The Dollar Tree, Ollie's and then the Valdosta mall. We learned about the road signs, following the speed limit and using safety skills on the way to Valdosta. We talked about being aware of our surroundings and staying together until we got in and out of the vehicles, to get to our destination. We shopped at the mall and all made our choices at the food court to see what we wanted to eat. Some chose to eat Chinese food, some chose burgers and fries baskets, chicken tender baskets and Philly beef steak baskets, and mini pretzel hot dogs. We all talked, ate our lunch and shared with each other what we had purchased! We all had a wonderful day and then headed back to Madison.

Yesterday we used our measuring skills and made some chocolatey brownies. They were delicious! 😊

In cooking class today we made grits, scrambled eggs, bacon and toast! Everyone worked together to make this amazing breakfast that was enjoyed by all! Have a Wonderful Day from The Arc Big Bend! 😊
