CALLING ALL FIBER ARTISTS!

We’re seeking donations from quilters, crocheters, knitters, and ALL fiber artists for our annual auction. Your creativity makes this event possible!

✨ What We’re Looking For:

New, handmade fiber art in every shape, size, and price range
Shipping-friendly items preferred (reaches all 50 states!)
Larger pieces welcome (usually marked for local pickup)
Lap quilts and larger tend to be crowd favorites

Today we celebrate Marsha P. Johnson! Marsha P. Johnson day is celebrated annually on August 24th, marking the birth date of the iconic Black transgender and gay liberation activist. The day honors her foundational role in the Stonewall Uprising, her co-founding of STAR (Street Transvestite Action Revolutionaries), and her lifelong advocacy for marginalized and unhoused q***r youth.

Entry into the giveaway is simple: Tag or comment the name of 1-3 q***r-owned or allied businesses in your local area who can help support our LGBTQ+ youth by spreading the word about our online auction! (Beyond Madison is preferred!)

A little over a week ago over 40 LGBTQ+ youth came together for four days and nights for GSAFE’s 26th annual Leadership Training Institute! They learned how to build community and leadership skills that they now can take back to their school communities and foster safe, inclusive, and more just learning environments for all!
