Miss Macomb Scholarship Pageant 1960 - 2016 An official preliminary of the Miss America Organization The Miss Macomb Scholarship Pageant was founded in 1959 by Bob and Nancy Foote of Macomb, Illinois.

The pageant is a preliminary to the Miss Illinois and Miss America Pageants. The Miss Macomb Scholarship Pageant is a not-for-profit organization run entirely by volunteers. Scholarships are the main focus of the pageant, last year giving a total of $7,600 in scholarships to its contestants. The main source of the pageant’s scholarships is it’s annual charity Auction. The Miss Macomb Pageant provide one of the largest local preliminary scholarships in the Miss American system.
