We have now exhausted our personal funds as a family and are once again reaching out to family, friends and strangers with hearts of gold.
We refuse to just stop trying or to find answers .
You have all been unbelievable in your outpouring of love, support , kindness and most importantly keeping Eric's face and information out there!

We know we have been quiet and we are sorry. It's always sad to report no news. It was inevitable and Eric's kids had to be talked to. I'm sure that was the most difficult discussion that their mama had ever had to have with them. We aren't stopping. We aren't giving up hope. We are just trying to keep all of our lives running . Our cups were empty and you can't pour from an empty cup.

Update Post:

We spent the afternoon with Colin, from Anthem Aerials out of Pennsylvania, thoroughly searching a couple of the areas on our list. With the help of his thermal and high resolution drone we were able to cover a lot of ground and timber that we wouldn’t have been able to otherwise.
Unfortunately, this search (much like our others) did not turn up any new information.

We hope to be able to check another location off of our list during Colin’s short stay in Illinois.

Because of this, and impending poor weather, we are not planning a public search for this weekend.
HOWEVER-
If you would like to continue the search efforts on your own or with friends / family- we would encourage you to do so.

The areas at the top of our list for our next ground searches include-
•Argyle Lake park
•Spring Lake park
- Spring lake has had some searching on the trails and around cabins. To our knowledge Argyle has had no ground or air searching.

It is important that these areas are searched and searched well so that we can rule them out and move on if necessary.

We want to remind you that Eric was last seen on a blue and black huffy bicycle that he purchased that day. He also purchased a gray backpack, a bike pump, and a red old spice deodorant.

Yes, he is being taken care of but even Omar misses his dad .
We know with each day that passes it's easier for people to give up or think that there is nothing else you can do.....please Don't give up! Please Keep sharing near and far! Please continue to keep your eyes and ears open and report Anything no matter how small it might seem!

It has been 9 days since Eric was last seen.
We have learned very little since that day.
However, the community has shown us great support by showing up to searches, writing / calling in tips, and keeping their eyes open for Eric.

This post is just a reminder - we aren’t giving up.
We ask the same from you. Eric is loved and missed by his family, friends, and especially his two children. If you know something, have seen him, or have a tip PLEASE let us know. We just want to bring him home to his babies.

We will be continuing searches via ground and air in the week to come. We will post ground search information and results as we have them.

It has been a sad, long, tiring, and confusing week, but this afternoon we were joined by members of our local (and not so local) community in a public ground search for Eric.

We can not express our gratitude and appreciation enough to every single person who showed up to help today. You all went above and beyond volunteering time and resources , combing roadsides, ditches, and even going door to door within our community. We also want to extend our thanks to the management team at Macomb Walmart , Julie Ward and Maple Avenue Christian Church for supplying the volunteers with water and snacks.

Unfortunately our search efforts today did not reveal any immediate clues or findings.

However we still have areas we wish to search, leads to follow, and we will not give up until we get Eric home.

Please continue to follow this page. Please continue to share our posts and his posters far and wide. Please keep an eye out for him. Please let us and/or the MPD know if you see him, hear from him, or know where he may be.

As a reminder-
Eric Fischer when missing Sunday January 08, 2023. He was last seen (confirmed) at 12:05pm leaving the Macomb Walmart. Eric was wearing blue jeans, a black JEEP hoodie, a black and gray north face coat, black shoes, a black baseball cap, and sunglasses. He purchased a black and blue huffy mountain bike , red old spice deodorant , a grey backpack, and a bike pump. He proceeded to the garden center area of the lot, aired up the bike tires, and rode out of the lot towards the north (Walton way- East Wheeler). He was last *heard* from before 4pm , when a suicidal text was sent. MPD very quickly declared him missing and endangered.
His phone last pinged NE of Macomb, between Macomb and Bardolph , though we are not able to get an exact location.
