Program: Now for something different. It’s been a very short time ago since we’ve met, having changed our September meeting date to accommodate various local programs that interest and involve us. Several members of the Board have agreed that we can see this meeting as an opportunity to discuss what is going well in our community (and beyond) as well as issues that concern us. We might begin with local concerns and move to wider perspectives. It will be up to you. You can bring up the topic you want to discuss at the meeting or contact Becky ([email protected]) before the meeting to make sure your kudos or concerns will be covered. Sharing these could give us a better sense of what our individual priorities are as feminism has evolved.

MFN and UPI will host a reception to honor and remember Maurine Magliocco’s many contributions to WIU.
Join us Wed Oct 14, 5pm-7pm.
Sandburg Lounge, university Union Bldg.

Leaders at Western Illinois University paid tribute to one of the institution’s trailblazers, Maurine Magliocco, who passed away this summer. She was 81.
