Cultura Latina Dance Academy Inc. CLDA is a 501(c)3 organization. Our mission is to enhance, share, and connect our cultures & community through dance.

CLDA was founded in 2011,when our founder/director, Yaya,with years of experience as a dancer/choreographer was invited to create a few folkloric dances for community organizations, churches, & non-profit organizations. This experience and necessity in her comunity motivated her, with the assistance of her board of directors, to fund what today is CLDA. Currently, we are a 501©3 non-profit dance a

cademy. CLDA fue formada en el año 2011, cuando nuestra fundadora, Yaya, con varios años de experiencia como bailarina/coreógrafa fue invitada a formar algunas danzas folkloricas para organizaciones comunitarias, iglesias y asociaciones sin fines de lucro. Esta experiencia y necesidad comunitaria motivo a su fundadora, con asistencia de su junta directiva, a formar lo que hoy es CLDA. En el momento somos una organización sin fines de lucro reconocida por el gobierno federal.

Behind every performance, rehearsal, event, and milestone is a team of dedicated staff and volunteers who give so much of their time, energy, and heart to CLDA.

We had the opportunity to step away from the studio and enjoy an evening together filled with laughter, great food, and even better company. ❤️

Thank you to our incredible staff and volunteers for everything you do to support our dancers, families, and mission. Your commitment does not go unnoticed, and CLDA would not be what it is without each of you.

We are grateful for this team and all that we continue to accomplish together. 💃✨

We can’t believe it’s already been a week since Perseverance! 💃✨

Our hearts are still full from an incredible evening celebrating culture, passion, and the hard work of our dancers.

What a beautiful celebration of perseverance, passion, and community.

Thank you to all the families, performers, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, and community members who joined us for the 2026 Perseverance Dance Recital. Your encouragement, dedication, and belief in our dancers made this event truly special.

To our performers, thank you for sharing your talent, hard work, and heart on stage. To our families and volunteers, thank you for the countless hours of support behind the scenes. And to our sponsors and community partners, thank you for helping make this experience possible.

Together, we celebrated more than dance; we celebrated growth, resilience, culture, and the power of community.
