It was an important discussion on the issues affecting working families, immigrants, housing, labor, and our communities across the district.

Last night on Mother’s Day in Lynn, community stood with Mariola and her family with love, prayers, and hope as Mariola faces the threat of deportation. A powerful reminder that no family should face this fight alone.

This Mother’s Day, while families gather with love, one mother here in our community is facing the heartbreaking threat of being torn away from her loved ones.

Join us THIS SUNDAY at 7:30 PM at Red Rock Park in Lynn for a Mother’s Day Vigil to stop the deportation of Mariola.

No mother should live in fear of being separated from her family.
No child should have to wonder if their mother will come home.

Come stand with Mariola. Bring your voice, your heart, and your solidarity.

New Lynn Coalition thanks everyone who helped make our annual 20th May Day in Lynn truly memorable.With a strong turnout, powerful speeches, and the energy of working people, immigrant communities, students, families, and grassroots leaders, this year’s May Day reminded us that when people organize, communities move forward
Together we marched for dignity, peace, fair wages, affordable housing, workers’ rights, immigrant justice, equal treatment for all, and an end to endless wars.

Thank you to every organizer, volunteer, speaker, marcher, and community member who showed up and stood together. The struggle continues. The movement grows. Solidarity forever.

Join us Friday May 1 2026 at 5:30 PM at Lynn City Hall for the 20th Annual May Day Rally and March.Workers immigrants and families stand together in Lynn carrying the weight of low wages housing pressure displacement and the absence of loved ones
We march for dignity and a future where no one is pushed aside We stand against war against fear and against the pain of losing loved ones.
We move through Market Street Liberty Street Washington Street and Essex Street with stops at the Lynn Police Department and Lynn District Court and return back to City Hall steps
Open to all Come join bring your family bring your friends bring your signs and stand with communities
