For the past three years, National Grid and Boston Children's Museum have partnered to provide hands-on STEAM learning experiences for educators in Lynn, Brockton, and the Boston neighborhoods of Dorchester and Roxbury. On June 15th, Boston Children's Museum gathered with educators across all of these communities to celebrate the success of these programs. We were so honored to attend with our staff who lead this initiative for LEO.
This relationship means the world to our staff, children, and families. It has opened minds and doors to places well beyond our typical offerings. This is community!

We were honored and thrilled to welcome the Marblehead School of Ballet in for an interactive performance for our 4 and 5 year old's. The young dancers were so poised and gorgeous to watch, and our children showed great ballet etiquette sitting quietly and soaking it all in. After some barre work, our littles were invited up to dance and learn ballet terms in French. They LOVED every second and haven't stopped spinning! Thank you to Paula Shiff, Director of the Marblehead School of Ballet for her partnership, dedication, and generosity. The MSB has created a scholarship pipeline for LEO children to learn and grow in dance, an incredible opportunity for lifelong arts and movement. You will find sweet Juliette, a current student, practicing her pointed toes on the back of a chair. The MSB also keeps our children warm with coats and pajamas every holiday season. Thank you student dancers, Hannah Dovev, Addie Kwait, and Adaline Lucic, you are welcome here anytime!🥰
