The 2nd Annual Floating Paper Lantern Festival was held last Saturday, August 22, 2026. Hundreds gathered for an evening of fun and culture at Goldfish Pond with performances from Kakrona Center Inc. of Lynn, MA, live music, family-friendly activities, and more before the lanterns were launched at sunset. The community gathered this night to honor the past, provide hope for the future, and come together - experiencing Khmer culture and reflecting on the past in a beautifully touching event that is on its way to becoming the city’s newest tradition.

The polls are open until 8pm tonight for the Primary Election! Want to figure out where to vote, upcoming registration deadlines for the final, and more? Visit LynnTV.org/election for our FREE election coverage!

While we will not be producing a live election results show tonight we will still be posting the results. Please check our website and socials after 8pm, we will share results as soon as we get them (if you don't see it we don't have them).

Today Riley welcomed in Jenny Armini for State Rep, Rep. Dan Cahill, & State Representative Sean Reid to discuss some of the recent wins for Lynn in the budget passed this past session. The discussion included talk about how the Millionaire's Tax helps fund things, public safety, the Student Opportunity Act, and more over close to 30 minutes.

The huge North Shore Veterans & First Responders Parade happening on September 20, 2026 was the focus on this Lynn Lowdown. Vice President Charles Griffin & member David Solomine Sr. of the Lynn MA Veterans Council joined us to discuss the parade, going over details such as the route and participants as well as traffic and parking restrictions. This 1.5 mile long parade is set to celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States as well as commemorate the 25th anniversaries of 9/11 and the Global War on Terror.
