🏅 Business Link Featured Member: Ospina Law, Business & Trademark Law Firm

Tannia Ospina, Trademark Lawyer founded the Ospina Law Firm in Hasbrouck Heights, Bergen County, because too many business owners were losing their brand names, signing bad contracts, and navigating legal challenges without real guidance.

A bilingual, boutique intellectual property and business law firm, Ospina Law offers flat-fee trademark registration, contract drafting, business litigation, and estate planning, serving entrepreneurs in New Jersey, New York, and all 50 states. Tannia has been on the front lines for our business community, leading workshops through SHCCNJ to help members navigate FIFA's strict branding and trademark requirements, so NJ businesses can show up for the tournament without risking penalties or compliance issues. When you build something worth protecting, Tannia Ospina makes sure no one can take it from you.

What an unforgettable day of soccer, culture, and community at the Union City Soccer Festival on June 13, 2026!

Hosted by SHCCNJ in collaboration with Mayor Brian Stack, the Board of Commissioners, and Cedar Stars Academy, the festival brought families, youth athletes, and local businesses together for a vibrant celebration at the Union City Midtown Athletic Complex.

The day kicked off with a warm welcome to visitors and heartfelt appreciation for the players, coaches, parents, and supporters who make youth sports so meaningful. From the exciting match between Union City Soccer Club and Cedar Stars Academy North to games and activities for all ages, live DJ music, and free food, there was truly something for everyone.

A standout highlight was the Hispanic Pavilion, where SHCCNJ Business Link members showcased their businesses and connected with the community. Local vendors brought incredible energy and flavor, from delicious tacos and international street food to unique products and cultural experiences. It was an opportunity not only to enjoy great food, but also to introduce young attendees to entrepreneurship, culture, and community pride.

We also heard from passionate small business owners and creators, including vendors sharing their stories, food, and even bilingual children’s books designed to help kids see themselves reflected in their culture and heritage.

We were especially honored to welcome Senator Andy Kim, who visited the festival and toured the event area, engaging with vendors, families, and attendees while experiencing firsthand the impact of this incredible community gathering.

⚽ Day 6. The world is in our backyard — and at our table.

Today, France meets Senegal at New York New Jersey Stadium right here in New Jersey. And tonight, Argentina faces Algeria at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri. Kickoff is at 9 PM ET.

Soccer has always been a bridge between cultures and traditions. At SHCCNJ, our members are that bridge — the businesses that feed us, gather us, and remind us who we are.

🏅 Business Link Featured Member: Las Marias NJ

Under the vision of owners María Guadalupe Nieves Auroza and Miguel Menez Diaz, Las Marias has become the heart of Puebla in New Brunswick, and the premier House of Mole Poblano in New Jersey. A graduate of SHCCNJ's Entrepreneurship Training Program (ETP) and our 2025 Business of the Year, this proudly Latino-owned restaurant brings centuries of culinary tradition to every plate, from handcrafted tortillas to legendary mole prepared the way it has always been made.

Guacamole and asado? We say yes. Because when the world comes together, the table gets bigger. 🫑🥩

⚽ Day 4. Today Ecuador takes the field in Philadelphia at 7 p.m.

NJ Businesses Welcome the World is our campaign to make sure the world finds you.

🌹 Business Link Featured Member: Santos flower’s LLC

Before a word is spoken, flowers say it first.

The scent that stops you at the door. The colors that fill a room. The bouquet handed over with both hands because the moment deserves it.

Ecuador is one of the world's largest exporters of roses — grown high in the Andes where altitude, volcanic soil, and equatorial light produce blooms of extraordinary size, fragrance, and color. The roses in a Santos Flowers arrangement today may very well have begun their journey there.

Today we take a moment to send love to our Ecuadorian community. Your flowers have been part of our celebrations, our mourning, our proposals, our graduations, our altars. Today your team takes the field and we are with you.

Santos Flowers brings that same care and intention to every arrangement — each bloom carefully selected for the occasion, the person, the feeling. Joseph Santos has been doing this in Northern NJ for over 15 years. Whatever the moment calls for, Santos creates the special bouquet.

¡Así se hace, Santos Flowers! ¡Vamos Ecuador! 🌹🇪🇨
