Is currently open for Registration our football season will begin very soon. PLEASE SIGN UP ASAP.
Tackle Football Grades 4, 5 and 6
Flag Football Grades 1, 2 & 3

Our LYS football teams are part of the Whatcom County Youth Football League
Games will be played on Saturdays at random Whatcom County Locations.

Welcome to LYS Football 2026 - Fall 2026

TACKLE FOOTBALL: Grades 3, 4, 5 & 6 Please get registered ASAP.

LYS Tackle/Flag Football is open for registration, These are travel Leagues. You will play at North Whatcom County Locations
Also new this year is LYS/WCYF FLAG FOOTBALL:

Tackle/Flag Football registration is Open now! we also will be offering a Flag football program see below!

Early bird Fee: $60. July 1st increases to $65
Season: August - October
Practices: We will have a mini Combine that will take place early August, dates TBD. Team practices will start shortly after. Practice will be 2 nights a week (Mon-Thurs) until school starts. Then down to Tuesday/Thursdays
Games: Saturdays - various locations in Whatcom County. First league game will be early September, date TBD.
Team Sponsors: $250 (Sponsorship request is not guaranteed. Sponsorships limited to 1 per team & dependent upon registration numbers & team placements)
LYS Footballs purpose is to introduce young players to the game of Flag football & to start developing the fundamentals they will need to play at the next level. This will be done in a climate of good sportsmanship & with respect for others.
LYS Football is a member of Whatcom County Youth Football League. This is a recreational football league. Playing time is required to be equal, yes the league does have a minimum play rule. We do encourage all to join us this first season.
Players learn discipline, sportsmanship & camaraderie. Few other sports require the dedication & perseverance that football does. Teams generally practice 2-4 days a week before school starts & 2 days after that, w/ games on Saturdays.

Cheer registration is OPEN!
Cheerleaders will perform at tackle football games on Saturdays during the LYS Football season. A cheer uniform and pom poms are included with the registration fee. Coaches needed!
