Every month, millions of women and girls miss school and work because they lack something essential: feminine hygiene supplies. Days for Girls is giving back days of education and opportunity through providing DfG Kits, each of which lasts for 3 years. To date, we've reached 2.4+ million girls in 144 countries with menstrual health solutions & education.

In Lebanon, conflict has escalated—putting even more pressure on women and girls already navigating displacement and uncertainty.

But the Days for Girls Social Enterprise in North Akkar—run by Syrian refugees and Lebanese women—has been helping amidst the crisis for years, and is continuing to reach women and girls with menstrual health solutions through it all.

Past support + our team has helped make possible:

• 57,765 Kits distributed to date
• 900 women and girls reached in 2025
• 1,300 more planned for 2026

Together, we are committed to supporting women and girls, no matter the circumstances.

Menstruation should never be a reason for shame or silence. However, According to Days for Girls International, 64% of school students in Cambodia believe that menstruation should be kept a secret.

On Menstrual Hygiene Day, UNFPA Cambodia stands with women and girls to promote accurate information on menstruation, sexual and reproductive health and rights.

By speaking openly and respectfully about menstruation, we can help break silence, reduce stigma and build a society where every girl can manage her period with dignity and confidence.

This Menstrual Hygiene Day, let’s build in a , no matter the circumstances.

We are close to reaching our Menstrual Hygiene Day campaign goal, but there is still a critical gap to close before May 28. Every day without access to menstrual products and education puts girls’ health, confidence, and opportunities at risk.

We have currently raised nearly 80% our goal.

Through May 28, your gift will have TRIPLE the impact thanks to a special 2x match.

We cannot reach this goal without our community.

Please give today before time runs out!

If you want to understand how lasting change happens, let’s take a trip to Naruku, Kenya, and look at our recent pilot program for postpartum care.

This project shows what it means to follow gold standards in international development—step by step, with women leading the way.

It starts with listening.

“I have learnt how to understand when there is a complication after birth and to seek medical help because all women experience it differently.”

That insight matters—because in the same region, 35% of mothers reported using cotton wool to manage postpartum bleeding, increasing the risk of infection.

From there, the model takes shape:

Start with her voice → women define the need
Work through local leaders → trusted and trained educators lead the work
Focus on long-term impact → education + reusable products
Measure what matters → data and stories guide decisions
Repeat → strengthen and expand what works

In 2025, this approach reached 868 new and expectant mothers.

Changes aren’t just about access—they are about locally-led sustainable solutions!
