For the month of October, Banner Bank is hosting a food drive. All collected donations will be donated to Project Hope Food Bank.
We're grateful to be their recipient and for all the support this community continues to show.
Need some ideas of what to donate?
Our biggest needs are paper products (paper towels, plates, and napkins), breakfast items, condiments, canned pumpkin and sweet potatoes, canned meat and soups.

๐Ÿ’™ SUPPORT PROJECT HOPE THROUGH BARRON.
This September, we're partnering with Barron Home Services through their Barron Kares Program. This means that by simply choosing Barron for your home comfort improvement you can help provide hope, healing, and support to local families through Project Hope!

Throughout September, Barron will donate $110 from every qualifying system sold to Christian Hope Association. Eligible purchases include heat pumps, AC systems, furnaces, solar, generators, tankless water heaters, and more.
And the impact goes even further! Daikin will donate an additional $100 for every Daikin FIT sold, bringing the total contribution to $210 for every qualifying Daikin FIT installation.

Thereโ€™s a lot of good happening right here in Whatcom Countyโ€”and this month, weโ€™re excited to celebrate some of it ๐Ÿ’›. Barron KARES is featuring Christian Hope Association for Septemberโ€”a trusted local resource providing hope, healing, and practical support to individuals and families facing difficult circumstances. With a mission to address immediate physical needs while confronting the effects of brokenness, they help many in our community find a path toward lasting stability.

Christian Hope Association provides both immediate assistance and long-term support through two core programs. Project Hope Lynden Food Bank offers food, community assistance, and connection at the point of need, while New Way Ministries is a Christ-inspired housing program for mothers and children, helping them find a stronger future.

Thank you, community! ๐Ÿ’™

Because of your generosity during the USPS Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, over 8,880 pounds of food was collected for local families in need. That is incredible!

Thank you to the USPS team and volunteers who worked hard collecting and delivering donations, to our volunteers who helped sort and put food away, and to Farmers Equipment Company for loaning us a forklift that made moving around thousands of pounds of food so much easier and faster.

We are continually encouraged by the compassion and support of this community.
