Hard to believe but 10 yrs ago, I bought these 2 John Deere tractors. One is a 1926 "nickel hole" D and the other is a 1937 AOS. The "D" was pretty good condition, but had a lot of incorrect parts on it, as someone was trying to make it a spoker. The AOS was rough and was missing most all of the sheet metal and what was there was either beat up, or someone's poor attempt at making the batwings. Over the years, correct parts for both were obtained and correct sheet metal was fabricated. Then life got in the way and both projects stalled out for almost 8 yrs. Over that time, a couple friends were lost (passed on) and new ones made. Finally, after all this time both are finally finished. It's too bad the fellow I bought these from, Jim Bliss (who I promised I would restore them) and friend JIm Beuzenberg (who loved to come over and check out the progress) are no longer here to see the completed projects. I'm sure they would have approved.

📢 Fall Tractor/Truck Pulls UPDATE (9/14): due to the rain and a very, veeery muddy track, today's pulls have been called and will not go on. Tomorrow is still ON, so be sure to come out tomorrow for a much drier show! 👍🏻

As we're breaking down and packing up today, we want to say THANK YOU to all the folks who played a part of our 2024 Vintage Farming Days show and all our patrons that came out this year to visit! We had a blast and we hope you did too!! 😁

Our last big event of the year is our Fall Tractor/Truck pulls on September 14th & 15th in the west field at Berthusen Park! Be sure to check out our website at psatma.org for more information as it rolls out. We'll also throw updates out here as soon as we get an event page up and ready to share.

📣 It's the last day of the PSATMA Vintage Farming Days 2024 event, y'all can't miss it! Here's a breakdown of the last day..

9am - Our sawmill demonstrations begin and run throughout the day. Be sure to check out the mighty steam powered Sorenson Sawmill that is back up and running this year as well!

930am - Tractor slow races begin by the announcers stand. How slow can you go??

10am-1pm - Our dairy ambassadors will be walking around and handing out delicious cheese! Be sure to snag some if you walk by them! 🤤

10am & 2pm - Threshing shows in our south field! Watch various tractors and steam engines using their power. 💪🏻

11am - The last parade of the show begins! Take a seat by the announcers stand and learn more about these awesome pieces of equipment!

12pm - Noon steam whistle blow. Cover your ears, because it's something you don't want to miss!

1pm - Kids candy scramble (and other fun games!) at the announcers stand. Can you find the washers in the straw?

2pm - The last day of our infamous tractor pulls! Be sure to be on time to watch Big Bertha!! 😉

And so much more in between to see and experience!!

Saturday (tomorrow! 😱) is the last day of PSATMA Vintage Farming Days 2024 and here's a sneak peak into just a FEW of our awesome vendors this year! There's a whole lot to check out, including folks selling vintage farm toys that'll add to your own collections or certainly spark a new collection set to pass down for generations. 😉

Getting hungry? 🤤

We've got some of the best food trucks around all weekend. From burgers & mexican food, to delicious donuts/crepes, ice cream, Kettlecorn and MORE; we've got savory and we've got sweets!

👉🏻 Also, our main food booth at the pavilion is now the Lynden PTA serving out delicious breakfast and lunch/dinner all day! Including tonight during our country music night with our special guest, Allis and The Chalmers at 6pm in the Pavilion! 🎶🪕💃🏼🕺
