Celebrating Winter in New England since 1995!

resh pavement, new wheels, obstacle courses, and ROLLERSKI HOCKEY! What more could you ask for? 🍂

We had a fantastic morning rolling around Bethel, Maine, introducing young skiers to rollerskiing and building confidence on wheels. From learning how to stop and turn to playing "Red Light, Green Light" and navigating an obstacle course, there was plenty of learning (and laughter!) along the way.

But the highlight? Bringing back rollerski hockey, of course! In fact, the game was so good that there was a lively debate about whether to finish playing or head off for cookies. We think that's a pretty good sign of a successful clinic!

A huge thank you to Mahoosuc Land Trust, Maine West Project Play, Mt. Washington Nordic Club, and the Gould Academy junior volunteers for helping make this fall tradition happen. We love seeing our Nordic community come together to get more kids moving, learning, and having fun on wheels!

The 2026-27 Fischer Eastern Cup season is on its way and registration opens today, November 2nd!

Before the season kicks off at the Cheri Walsh Memorial Opener in December, there’s still a few crucial steps for all involved to take to get ready for a winter skiing better, together. So in the spirit of Fall, harvest the field, chop the wood, stack the hay, can the veggies, and RENEW YOUR NENSA + USSS MEMBERSHIPS for the winter!

In an effort to better support our clubs in fostering safe spaces, we've put together a new NENSA individual membership that includes a background check, abuse prevention training, and concussion training.

The NENSA Certified Volunteer membership, offered at the same $60 rate as our Adult and Coach memberships, provides an accessible, affordable way for club leaders to streamline safety training and background checks for their volunteers and youth coaches.

For NENSA member clubs, we can process bulk membership uploads, and the platform we are using for the background check and trainings helps clubs simplify compliance management with a club admin given access to view and track the task completion progress of their coaches/volunteers in one place. The system also sends automatic reminders to folks who have not completed all their requirements.

This year’s Event Organizer and TD Training Seminar was held over two days in at Prospect Mountain Ski Area in Woodford, VT, with a big thank you due to the Prospect Mountain Association graciously hosting us. Participants traveling from as far away as central Maine and the Adirondacks, with many first time attendees.
