Baabs and Momma discovered their shelter today. They lounged, received belly scratches from their many human admirers and napped the day away. And as of the 10 pm feed and bed check, they were snoozing peacefully, oblivious to the thunderstorm!

It has been an exciting and busy morning at the Sanctuary! We welcomed our newest residents, Momma and Baabs, to the farm. Momma and Baabs are a bonded pair of American Yorkshire pigs. Momma is three years old and weighs approximately 700 lbs. (!!) and Baabs is two years old and weighs in around 500 lbs. We'll continue to post scenes from their arrival and first few hours settling into sanctuary life throughout the day! Stay tuned!

SO many thanks to Chef Michelle, the team at PiANTA restaurant and everyone who bought tickets and joined us at last night's special fundraiser! The event was a huge success. The money raised is supporting our newest rescues, who are arriving this morning! Stay tuned for the big reveal! We will post videos of their first moments of sanctuary life this afternoon!

We have big news! A special rescue opportunity has come our way and two new animals will soon call River Haven home.
