Chariho Rotary Club We are a small group of community minded citizens, who share the same creed, " Service Above Self". The Rotary motto is Service Above Self.

Our community service area is within the towns of Richmond, Hopkinton, Charlestown and Exeter. Rotary is an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. n 30,000 Rotary clubs. Rotary club membership represents a cross-section of the community's business and professional men and women. The world's Rotary clubs meet weekly and are nonpolitical, nonreligious, and open to all cultures, races, and creeds. The main objective of Rotary is service — in the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world. Rotarians develop community service projects that address many of today's most critical issues, such as children at risk, poverty and hunger, the environment, illiteracy, and violence. They also support programs for youth, educational opportunities and international exchanges for students, teachers, and other professionals, and vocational and career development.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported this year's Brad Friel Memorial Golf Tournament. Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, golfers, volunteers, and supporters, this was our most successful tournament yet, raising more than $36,000 for the Chariho Rotary Club.
These funds will be returned directly to our community through grants to local nonprofits, student scholarships, and support for important global initiatives that make a lasting impact.

We are incredibly grateful to everyone who helped make this event such a tremendous success. Thank you for your support, dedication, and commitment to making a difference!

We are pleased to have completed another successful Spring Grant Cycle, providing financial support to several deserving organizations making a meaningful impact in our communities. This cycle's recipients included Global Rise, Southern RI Volunteers, Chris Collins Foundation, Frank Olean Center, St. Mary’s / St. James / St. Vincent de Paul Conference, Jonnycake Center of Westerly, and Ocean Community YMCA.

It is always an honor and a joy for our club to support organizations that serve others, both within our local community and beyond. We are grateful for the opportunity to help these groups continue their important work and make a positive difference in the lives of those they serve.

The Chariho Rotarians enjoyed an amazing weekend in New Hampshire filled with teamwork, golf, camaraderie, and good old-fashioned fun. Whether on the course or spending time off of it, the weekend was a fantastic reminder that the friendships and connections we build are just as important as the service we provide.
