We are excited to continue introducing the newest members of the George Regional Health System Foundation Board of Directors, and today we’re proud to welcome Cheryl Prentiss!

Cheryl is a lifelong resident of Greene County and has dedicated many years to caring for others through her work at Greene County Hospital. She earned her LPN license from MGCC in 1998 and later completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Mobile in 2012. Cheryl began working at Greene County Hospital in 2005 as a floor nurse before moving to the Emergency Department in 2010. In 2013, she was named Director of Nursing.

Cheryl is passionate about healthcare and deeply values the dedicated staff she works alongside each day. She takes great pride in serving her community and making a difference in the lives of patients and families.

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, including her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. She also stays busy remodeling her 80-year-old farmhouse and caring for her property.

We are honored to have Cheryl join our Foundation Board and look forward to the experience, compassion, and leadership she will bring to our organization and community!

We are excited to continue introducing the newest members of the George Regional Health System Foundation Board of Directors, and today we’re proud to welcome Shara Fairley!

Shara works in Accounts Payable at George County Hospital and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resource Management.

She is married to Beaux Fairley, and together they have four children and are proud grandparents of three. Shara attends Lucedale Church of God and enjoys building meaningful connections within her community.

Shara believes strong communities are built through involvement, compassion, and a willingness to serve others. She is passionate about giving back and supporting initiatives that strengthen families and improve the well-being of those around her.

We are honored to have Shara join our Foundation Board and look forward to the impact she will help us make in our community!

We are excited to welcome new members to the George Regional Health System Foundation Board of Directors, and we’re proud to introduce one of our newest additions, Allie Jablanski!

Originally from Florida, Allie now proudly calls George County home alongside her husband, Kendall, a Lucedale native. Together, they are raising their two children and are active members of Journey Church.

Allie is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she ranked in the top 10% of Journalism and Communications students. She currently serves in Marketing at Century Bank, where she brings creativity, connection, and a passion for community.

When she’s not working, Allie enjoys spending time with her family, planning her next trip, trying new recipes, and working on home projects.

We are honored to have Allie join our Foundation Board and look forward to the impact she will help us make in our community!

One of the most rewarding parts of the Star Gala each year is recognizing students who are pursuing their education and preparing to make a difference in their communities.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 3rd Annual Star Gala hosted by the George Regional Health System Foundation. It was an incredible evening filled with great food, live music, a silent auction, and the celebration of the many stars in our healthcare system and community.
