💙 Your Support in Action 💙

Much of the work of the George Regional Health System Foundation happens behind the scenes, but its impact can be seen in moments like this.

The Foundation recently donated a new EasyStand to George Regional Health & Rehab, helping patients safely work toward standing and greater independence during their recovery.

Mrs. Campbell was the first patient to use the new equipment. After a fall left her unable to walk or even stand, she is now able to stand with minimal assistance from our therapy team using the EasyStand and she is looking forward to the next goal of walking again! 💙

This is what the GRHS Foundation is all about, providing resources that make a meaningful difference in the care, recovery, and lives of those we serve.

We are proud to invest in our patients and give our healthcare teams additional tools to help them succeed as well. 💙

⛳ Save the Date for the 4th Annual GRHS Foundation Golf Tournament! ⛳

We're excited to announce that the George Regional Health System Foundation Golf Tournament is back for its 4th year! This year, we're switching things up and moving the tournament to a Friday, September 25, 2026, at Whispering Pines Golf Course.

Registration begins at 7:00 AM, with an 8:00 AM shotgun start. Teams are $300 for a 3-person team, and registration includes one mulligan per player and one 10-foot string.

Whether you're a returning team or joining us for the first time, we hope you'll spend the day on the course while supporting the George Regional Health System Foundation and its mission to give back to our patients and community. Gather your team and make plans to join us—we can't wait to see you there! 💙⛳

We are excited to conclude our introduction of the newest members of the George Regional Health System Foundation Board of Directors by welcoming Cruz Beech!

Cruz serves as a Business Banker with Century Bank, where he enjoys building strong relationships and helping local businesses and individuals succeed. In addition to his work in banking, he is actively involved in our community through service on the George County Advisory Committee for the United Way of Jackson, George, and Greene Counties and as a member of the George County and Greene County Mississippi State Alumni Association, helping raise scholarship funds for local graduating seniors.

Cruz is also a member of First Church of Lucedale and is passionate about the growth of our community and the well-being of the people who call it home.

We are honored to have Cruz join our Foundation Board and look forward to the leadership, community connections, and dedication he will bring as we continue making a positive impact throughout our region.

We are excited to continue introducing the newest members of the George Regional Health System Foundation Board of Directors, and today we’re proud to welcome Cheryl Prentiss!

Cheryl is a lifelong resident of Greene County and has dedicated many years to caring for others through her work at Greene County Hospital. She earned her LPN license from MGCC in 1998 and later completed her Associate Degree in Nursing from the University of Mobile in 2012. Cheryl began working at Greene County Hospital in 2005 as a floor nurse before moving to the Emergency Department in 2010. In 2013, she was named Director of Nursing.

Cheryl is passionate about healthcare and deeply values the dedicated staff she works alongside each day. She takes great pride in serving her community and making a difference in the lives of patients and families.

Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys spending time with her family, including her son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren. She also stays busy remodeling her 80-year-old farmhouse and caring for her property.

We are honored to have Cheryl join our Foundation Board and look forward to the experience, compassion, and leadership she will bring to our organization and community!

We are excited to continue introducing the newest members of the George Regional Health System Foundation Board of Directors, and today we’re proud to welcome Shara Fairley!

Shara works in Accounts Payable at George County Hospital and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a focus in Human Resource Management.

She is married to Beaux Fairley, and together they have four children and are proud grandparents of three. Shara attends Lucedale Church of God and enjoys building meaningful connections within her community.

Shara believes strong communities are built through involvement, compassion, and a willingness to serve others. She is passionate about giving back and supporting initiatives that strengthen families and improve the well-being of those around her.

We are honored to have Shara join our Foundation Board and look forward to the impact she will help us make in our community!

We are excited to welcome new members to the George Regional Health System Foundation Board of Directors, and we’re proud to introduce one of our newest additions, Allie Jablanski!

Originally from Florida, Allie now proudly calls George County home alongside her husband, Kendall, a Lucedale native. Together, they are raising their two children and are active members of Journey Church.

Allie is a graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi, where she ranked in the top 10% of Journalism and Communications students. She currently serves in Marketing at Century Bank, where she brings creativity, connection, and a passion for community.

When she’s not working, Allie enjoys spending time with her family, planning her next trip, trying new recipes, and working on home projects.

We are honored to have Allie join our Foundation Board and look forward to the impact she will help us make in our community!
