Hours are Thurdays and Fridays from 10am-2pm. We will be open on Saturdays in October and November from 9am to 12noon.

As GCHS celebrates Homecoming...
The Lucedale-George County Museum will have a special exhibit for the month of October, featuring George County schools homecomings from the past.
"School Homecomings from the past...
the 1940s thru the 1960s"

We need your help! If you have anything Homecoming related from these years that you would allow us to display for this special exhibit, please message or comment here.
Examples: Homecoming gowns, crowns, sashes, pictures, newspaper articles, programs, cheerleader, band or football items. We're open to suggestions! The deadline is September 25th, so...search your closets and treasure chests!

The museum will be closed on Thursday 7/30 so we can attend the funeral of one of our founding members, Annie Ruth Thigpen. She was truly a blessing to our community.
