Recognizing Student Athletes: We are proud to honor our Football Athletes of the Week!

Congratulations to these hardworking players for demonstrating outstanding teamwork, dedication, and sportsmanship. Keep shining!

Equipping Future Leaders: Education is a core focus of our club, and we just delivered a fresh batch of flash cards and calculators directly to Central School to help students build strong foundational math and learning skills.

A huge thank you to our club members and community partners who make these initiatives possible. Together, we’re investing in the bright future of our youth!

We had an absolute blast at our Rotary meeting having Forrest Proctor as our guest speaker!

It’s always inspiring to see local talent using their creative gifts to lift up our community, and Forrest is doing just that. He gave us a behind-the-scenes look at a few of his incredible local projects, including:

Restoring the historic John Sims studio

Our Lucedale Christmas Parade Video: Filming and producing the magical video capturing our favorite holiday tradition.

Hometown Documentary: Preserving the story, heart, and history of our town through a compelling documentary.

Sneak Peek: Giving us a first listen to his brand-new song dedicated to our community—and trust us, it’s going to be a local hit!

This September, Rotarians across District 6840 are coming together to help change that. Through our partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, we're building beds and providing bedding to give children a safe, comfortable place to sleep, dream, and grow. Join us in creating lasting impact!

Lucedale Rotary Club may be looking to rent a concession trailer similar to the ones in the pictures. Please reach out to us if you know of one available for the week of Oct. 12-18. Needed for entry/ticket booth, not food sales.

In the Lucedale Rotary Club, we are so appreciative of the service of our Fire Department and Law Enforcement agencies along with all First Responders. Century Bank recognizes First Responders each quarter and we are happy to partner with them on this recognition. Presenting the awards was Cruz Beech, Credit Analyst at Century Bank. Honored was Deputy Sheriff Gavin McLeod from the George County Sheriff’s Office, Fire Chief Rickey Colson from the Lucedale Fire Department and Sgt. Tyler Pruitt from the Lucedale Police Department (not present). Thank you for all that you do for our communities!

The Lucedale Rotary Club is excited to invite everyone to this year's Christmas Parade, featuring the theme:

"Celebrating 250 Years of America – A Patriotic Christmas"

Join us as we celebrate the joy of the Christmas season while honoring the 250th anniversary of the United States. We look forward to a parade filled with festive floats, holiday music, patriotic spirit, and hometown pride.

Bring your family, friends, and neighbors to enjoy this special community tradition. We encourage everyone to wear their favorite red, white, and blue along with their Christmas attire as we celebrate both our nation's history and the magic of the holiday season.

Date: Saturday December 5th
Time: 6 PM
Downtown Lucedale

Businesses, churches, schools, civic organizations, and community groups are invited to participate with a float or parade entry. Please reach out to Lucedale City Hall to register. They can be reached at 601-947-2082.

This week the club heard from GCHS students Brooklyn Tanner and Andre Pierce about their experience at RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards). RYLA is a week long summer camp designed to help selected participants learn communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.
