So today we laid to rest not only a veteran, but a warrior. A warrior from George County. Todd Henderson. A man that made sacrifices that affected him for the remainder of his life, that wasn’t shy to show his battle scars, but never bragged about his actions. Brother may you rest in peace.

To the small but impactful group of veterans that attended his service, I wanna personally thank you.

To the rest of the veterans. Where were you ? Were you busy, had other plans, was it inconvenient for you, or was it that you didn’t know him so you didn’t wanna go?
Or was it i didnt know? How do you not know? It was on social media, and in the times, so what do we need a bill board! Is that where we are now as veterans? I hear all the time ok brother I’m here if you need anything. So you know what’s needed, to show other veterans they still matter even in death. Two funerals in a week with another in a few days that I’m going to. Every warrior matters. So decide now who you are! Are you still a warrior or are you just someone that checked the box and got theirs.

Warriors honor our fallen. No matter who or when.

If this makes you feel upset or guilty maybe you should reflect on yourself.
