August is Make-a-Will Month!

Estate planning is a powerful tool that can help you ensure your wishes are honored while minimizing taxes. Without a plan, significant portions of your estate could go to the IRS instead of benefiting your loved ones and the causes you care about.

One way to keep your tax dollars local is by including a charitable bequest or other planned gift through the Slaton Area Endowment in your will. By doing so, you can reduce your taxable estate while supporting the community you love. Your gift creates a lasting personal legacy that stays true to your values and charitable intent forever.

Make this August the month you take control of your legacy. Consider making or updating your will today, and ensure your impact is felt in the Slaton area for generations to come! Be sure to consult with a trusted legal or financial advisor to determine what options work best for you.

Visit slatonareaendowment.org/opportunities-for-donors or call (806) 762-8061 for more information.
