“Small Town Hours” are totally a thing, and no one describes ‘em better than Ranch House Restaurant,sanderson, Tx.

I walked in at 6:15, hoping I could get a bite. They were definitely about to close, but the owner welcomed me in anyway.

What time do they close? Well, in a town of 600 or so people, the answer is, it depends.

Ordered the chicken fried steak. I highly recommend it wit the red pepper flake gravy.
