HAPPY TAIL! 🥳

We started our weekend off the right way, Friday afternoon, with Baby Chunk going to his new home! He has already made himself at home and is loving life. We are super thankful for FOX34 Lubbock Good Day Good Dog segment. They allow us to bring our available doggies for adoption on their Wednesday morning segment- Chunks new family saw him on the news and fell in love. Now Chunk gets to have a human sibling and a wonderful family that loves him dearly. We are so happy and thankful that his family chose adoption. Here's to new adventures and Happy Tails. We love you Chunk, have fun!! ❤️🥹

🥹Meet our newest little guy, Gizmo!
He was found as a stray and going to be taken to a high kill shelter, at only ~12 weeks old we couldn't let that happen. Thanks to an amazing team of transporters organized by our friends Kimm Jacobs and Regan Edwards Lamberson, today we got him here safely. He is smart and sweet and a velcro doggy, we love him already. ❤️

🙏Months ago, this little girl sat terrified in a high-kill shelter, minutes away from euthanasia. She was so scared she couldn’t even be touched.

Today, she made a breakthrough! After slowly coming out of her shell over these last few months, now she is showing us the sweetest personality. Her name is Geez Louise, and she is proof that scared dogs are not broken, they just need someone to give them a chance. 🤧❤️

🥹 More sweet babies!! Thanks to an awesome foster, they are safe off of the street along with their Mama! They called us and we were happy to add them to our rescue family! They are safe, happy and super cute. Thankfully their mama did a great job keeping them safe on the street until our friends could catch them. Now they sleep on cozy beds and have full tummies. They get to make their way to their new families in Colorado on May 26th! ❤️

❤️🥹 Meet our newest little babies: Moe, Meep, and Mae. These precious pups were left to fend for themselves after their mama was tragically killed out in the country. Thankfully, a kind family stepped in and cared for them until they could reach out to us for help.
A couple of days ago, these sweet little ones joined our rescue family and are now safe, loved, and being cared for by one of our amazing fosters. They are absolute angels.
They will be with us until their transport to Colorado, where loving homes are waiting for them. Until then, they are warm, protected, and getting all the care and cuddles they deserve. ❤️

Hello friends!❤️
We have an incredible opportunity to purchase several pallets of dog food through an amazing food program for just $100 per pallet. As a nonprofit rescue, the cost of purchasing dog food at full price has been a huge expense, so this opportunity would make a tremendous difference for our animals.
We are hoping to purchase 3 to 4 pallets, which would help feed our dogs for the next couple of months and give us some much-needed breathing room financially so we can continue providing the care they deserve.

👏We are so excited to announce that Maizie has officially been adopted by one of our very own K9 Kennels team members! When Gabby came onboard with us and promised to take care of our animals like her own, she was serious! ❤️

Maizie is an energetic, happy girl who loves life and keeps everyone smiling. She has been back with us since September of 2025, but we always knew her perfect match was out there.

Now she gets the loving home she deserves with someone who already knows and adores her. We couldn’t be happier for this sweet girl and her new family!

Happy tails Maizie and Gabby! Heres to amazing adventures 🐾
