Whether you're walking the neighborhood with your kids or handing out candy at home, we hope you have a safe and fun night.

It has been 25 years since the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. Today, we remember the lives lost and honor the first responders and building trades members who answered the call.

This September, Local 404 wants every member to know that it’s okay to ask for help. Our industry runs on people showing up for each other, and that includes checking in when something feels off - either physically or mentally.

UA Pipe PALS (Peer Allies for Life Success) is a UA-wide resource built specifically for the pipe trades. Learn more at ua.org/ua-pipe-pals.

If you or someone you know needs support right now, call or text 988, available 24/7.

Happy Fourth of July from UA Local 404!

Today we celebrate the 250th anniversary of America’s independence from Great Britain. We also recognize the opportunity and hard work that make this country great. Every pipe laid, every system installed and every job completed by our members is a contribution to the communities that make up this great nation.

To every member of the UA Local 404 family — enjoy the day, enjoy your families and the fruits of your hard work. You have earned it.

Happy Fourth of July!

Happy Father's Day from UA Local 404!

To every father in our union family — the ones who put in long days so their families can have everything they need — we see your sacrifice, and we honor it today.

The work you do matters. The example you set matters even more. Whether you are passing down the trade or simply showing your kids what it means to work hard and take pride in what you do — that is a gift that lasts a lifetime.

Wishing every dad in the UA Local 404 family a wonderful Father's Day!

On this Memorial Day, UA Local 404 stops to remember and honor the brave men and women of our armed forces who gave their lives so that we could live freely.

Many in our union family have served or come from military families, and we know firsthand the pride and the sacrifice that come with that service. Today, we hold the fallen close in our hearts and express our deepest gratitude to their families.

Thank you to all who served — and especially to those who gave everything. You will always be remembered.

Happy Mother's Day from UA Local 404!

Our union is only as strong as the families behind it — and at the heart of so many of our families is a remarkable mom. To every mother in the UA Local 404 family: thank you for your love, support and strength.

Whether you're a woman working in the trades or the mom cheering on those who do — today we celebrate you. You deserve all the appreciation in the world.

Wishing every mom a wonderful Mother's Day!

May is Mental Health Awareness Month, and UA Local 404 wants every member of our union to know that we care about more than the work — we care about you.

Our trade demands skill, focus and physical toughness, but we also know that life brings challenges that no amount of training prepares you for. Mental health struggles can affect anyone, in any trade, at any time.

You do not have to go through it alone. Talk to a fellow member. Reach out to a counselor or call/text 988 to reach the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline — free, confidential and available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Let's be there for each other because this is how a union family takes care of each other.

Success in the building trades starts with a solid foundation. During National Apprenticeship Week, UA Local 404 recognizes our Registered Apprenticeship Program that turns motivated men and women into journeymen pipe trades members. We are committed to providing the skills and knowledge that our apprentices need to build a successful career for themselves and their families.

04/28/2026

The members of UA Local 404 pause today to remember the workers who never returned home from their shift. Their loss is a reminder of why we fight for strong contracts and safe working conditions. We honor the fallen by ensuring our current and future members have the best safety equipment and training available.
