We are so grateful to the amazing people who give their time, talent, and treasure to Ronald McDonald House Southwest. On November 12th at our Thanks for Giving Luncheon, we'll celebrate all the people who make our mission possible.

Leading up to the event, we’re announcing the individuals and groups who have gone above and beyond in service to our families and will be honored at Thanks for Giving. This year’s Time Award honorees are:
⭐Olivia Abbott: With 87 volunteer hours, Olivia Abbott has shown incredible dedication and compassion, always willing to lend a hand and make a difference for the families we serve!
⭐Estacado National Honor Society: Since 2020, Estacado National Honor Society students have generously given their time and hard work to help keep our House welcoming and comfortable for families!
⭐Bobbye Phenix: Bobbye Phenix brings warmth, kindness, and a welcoming smile to families visiting our Covenant Children’s Family Room, and we are so grateful for the time she shares!
⭐Kiesal Organization: Thank you to Cory Kiesel and his McDonald’s team for years of providing meals, spreading smiles, and supporting our families and fundraising events!

“During one of the hardest seasons our family has ever walked through, you all gave our family a home away from home and loved on our other kiddos while we were focused on getting their baby brother through the NICU.”

We had a great time last week for a McDonald's "Thank You Week" where our staff and board visited all the McDonald's stores who make a difference in making sure ! This is just a quick snapshot of all the amazing crews and communities we got to visit ❤️

Behind the Brand: Family Stays❤️
With our new brand look comes a new tagline, Family Stays. It not only speaks to who--families--stays and where--the Ronald McDonald House--they stay, when a child it sick. It speaks to the importance of having families together during one of the hardest times of their lives.

We're been told over and over by parents who stay at the Ronald McDonald House, "I couldn't leave my child." We're here to make sure they don't have to.

Family stays in every hard conversation, every impossible decision.
They don’t glance at the time…they lose track of it.
They sleep in chairs, in cars, in hallways.
They miss work. They miss paychecks. They miss meals.
They put their entire lives on hold just to be close to the one who needs them most.

At Ronald McDonald House, we believe no family should have to choose between being there for their child and having a place to stay.
So, we give them more than just a room.
We give them rest. Warmth. A hot meal. A shoulder.
We give them something that feels like normal, even when nothing else is.
Because when a child is in the hospital, family stays. And we stay with them.

Join us TONIGHT, Friday, October 23rd from 6pm–8pm for our annual Trunk or Treat! There will be plenty of candy, games, and fun for the whole family!

🚗Parking for visitors is to the west of the Ronald McDonald House in UMC lot 5. If you are coming from Texas Tech Parkway, you will turn into the parking lot before you reach the House.
