Aerial Atmosphere is one of our amazing local business partners. Belem has sponsored our event 2 years in a row now, but she's been behind the scenes since Day 1. Her husband serves on our board and Belem has been known to show up at a meeting and share great ideas for our events, as well as the programs we provide in the community.

Aerial Atmosphere is a Pole & Aerial Dance fitness studio offering fun and unique circus-style classes in a supportive and welcoming environment. Classes include: Aerial Silks, Aerial Hammock/Sling, Lyra/Aerial Hoop, Pole Fitness, Adult Dance Classes, and Flexibility.

It's a fitness environment built on fun. You'll never see Belem without a smile on her face and our charity is but a drop in the bucket when you look at all her team does in the community.

Aerial Atmosphere will be performing throughout the evening on Sept 26th at The Garden-Live Music Cold Beer for our 3rd annual fundraiser. Go say HI to the team and maybe sign up for a class or 2. You'll be able to bid on a package from Aerial Atmosphere in our silent auction as well!

We always talk about the rich music history of Lubbock. Stubb's BBQ was ground zero for more years than I know. When you delve into what Mr. Stubblefield did in, and for, this community, you start to uncover a treasure chest. Many of the greatest musicians from the 20th century rolled through. They were hanging out eating BBQ in little ole' Dirt City. To this day, we hang out and eat BBQ and listen to young musicians working to be the next hit act out of LBK. The old BBQ joint may be long gone, but the legacy Stubb left in the community is forever.

We owe a lot to this man ... Christopher B. "Stubb" Stubblefield.
