❤️ MEMBER SPOTLIGHT: AVERY AGNEW ❤️

We’re so excited to spotlight one of our amazing Junior League of Lubbock members and learn a little more about her. ✨

Avery joined JLL because of her lifelong love for Holiday Happening. She and her mom have attended every year since she was a kid, even getting to skip school for a fun day of magic together! Over the years, that love grew into a passion for volunteering and being involved in her community. Joining JLL has given Avery so many opportunities to serve and build meaningful relationships along the way.

One of Avery’s favorite things about the League is that there’s something for everyone, with so many ways to get plugged in and make an impact. She especially loves seeing all the different corners of the Lubbock community that JLL reaches. ❤️

This year, Avery is serving as the Touch-a-Truck Assistant Chair and is especially excited to see the fun, excitement, and joy the event brings to kids and families in our community! 🚜✨ One of her favorite JLL memories is helping with a Kids in the Kitchen “how to make hummus” class with the Smith Gardening Club and watching the kids try something new and enjoy making it themselves.

A few fun facts about Avery:
🎧 Favorite podcast: Good Hang with Amy Poehler
☕ Dream coffee date: Jenna Bush Hager
👦 Fun fact: She’s the girl of the house with two young boys running around!
🏰 Bucket list: Take her kids on a Disney trip!

We’re so thankful to have Avery as part of JLL and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes this year! ❤️

💗 INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE GIRL 💗
Today, we celebrate girls everywhere and recognize the incredible potential, strength, and possibilities that exist within every girl.

At the Junior League of Lubbock, we’re proud to support programs and initiatives that help create opportunities for children and families in our community. We believe that investing in girls today helps build stronger women and stronger communities tomorrow.

Here’s to the girls who are dreaming big, finding their voices, lifting others up, and becoming the women they’re meant to be. ❤️

Let’s continue creating a world where every girl knows she is capable, valued, and empowered to make a difference.

Walking for a cause that impacts so many.

Some of our Junior League of Lubbock members were proud to volunteer at the Walk to End Alzheimer’s and come together to support the Alzheimer’s Association and those affected by this disease.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve our community, raise awareness, and walk alongside others working toward a world without Alzheimer’s. 💜
