Meet current members, learn about the League experience, and enjoy an afternoon of mahjong, conversation, and connection. Whether you're looking to grow your leadership skills, build lasting friendships, or make an impact in the Lubbock community, we'd love to meet you.

As we close out another incredible JLL year, our Spring Dinner was a special evening of celebration, gratitude, and new beginnings. ✨

We honored our graduating senior scholarship recipients for their outstanding volunteer service, celebrated this year’s member award recipients, and reflected on the impact our members have made throughout the community this year. The evening also marked the passing of the gavel as Ginny Simpson concluded her year of leadership and welcomed Lindsay Rushing as the next president of JLL.

A heartfelt thank you to Ginny for her dedication, leadership, and service to the League this year. We are excited for all that is ahead as we begin a new chapter together.

Here’s to a wonderful 2025–2026 league year and to the members, partners, and supporters who made it possible. ❤️

As we wrap up another incredible year of SPARK, we’re looking back on some of our favorite moments including our March lunches focused on the “K” in SPARK: Knowledge! ✨📚

Students created vision boards centered on their goals, dreams, and the knowledge they hope to gain as they continue growing into confident leaders. From future careers to personal aspirations, every board reflected creativity, ambition, and big possibilities. 💜

SPARK finished the year strong with this week’s field trip adventure (featured in our stories on May 6, with more to come soon 👀), and we’re so proud of all these students accomplished throughout the year!

Meet Danelle McCourt, one of our 2026 Volunteer Service Award Scholarship recipients! 🎓

A senior at Lubbock High School, Danelle has contributed more than 500 hours of service over the past six years through the National Charity League. She co-founded Lubbock Healthy Minds Healthy Plates to address local food insecurity and serves as President of her school's Speech and Debate team. Danelle plans to study Marketing and pursue a career in political marketing.

Congratulations, Danelle! We can't wait to see all you accomplish. ❤️

Meet Serin Lee, one of our 2026 Volunteer Service Award Scholarship recipients! 🎓

A senior at Lubbock High School, Serin serves as an assistant teacher at Lubbock Korean School, tutors K–12 students through Robin's Nest Tutoring, and advocates for mental health awareness through Sunflowers Over Su***de. She plans to pursue a degree in Psychology with the long-term goal of improving access to mental health resources for young people.

Congratulations, Serin! Your commitment to service is inspiring. ❤️
