We are centered on developing character and leadership traits in young people.

Each year the Kent County Youth Fair provides an exciting opportunity to showcase more than 900 exhibitor's artwork, animals, projects, and more to over 40,000 patrons! Located in Lowell, MI we serve many youth across the Kent County area interested in agriculture.

Hello exhibitors and families! I hope you are ready for another amazing year! We have set our declaration dates.

First DNA collection date:
November 21st from 9am-12pm
Location: Kent County Youth Fairgrounds- 13801 Cascade Rd SE, Lowell, MI 49331
*NOTE LOCATION CHANGE*

Second DNA collection date(s):
December 11th from 6pm-9pm and the 12th from 7am-9am
Location: Michigan Winter Classic Beef Show at the MSU Pavilion in Lansing

Please have your declaration form(s) filled out. Payment must be made at the time of declaration at $20 per head. 🍂

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team as Performing Arts Superintendent and Goat Superintendent!

These volunteer leadership roles are a great opportunity to support our youth, share your passion, and help make the fair a memorable experience for our exhibitors and families.

FACES OF THE FAIR FRIDAY: Meet Mary Crosby, KCYF Exhibition Manager!

If you’ve ever wondered who helps keep all the pieces of the Kent County Youth Fair moving, there’s a good chance Mary Crosby has something to do with it! Mary is one of those behind-the-scenes people who helps make the magic of fair week happen. From exhibitors and departments to all the details that have to come together before the gates open, Mary helps keep things moving. And if that wasn't enough, Mary has a special connection to our Poultry Department, making her no stranger to feathers and the occasional chicken-related adventure. 🐔

That's what makes people like Mary so important to KCYF. She's not just helping put on a fair - she's helping create opportunities and memories that can last a lifetime. Let’s give Mary a big THANK YOU for all the time, energy, patience and heart she pours into the Kent County Youth Fair! 👏❤️
