We had a full house on Wednesday as many scholarship recipients and their parents joined us. We can't wait to see where life takes these amazing students!

It was another great week for the Lowell Rotary Club.

We handed out more scholarships to some of the outstanding young adults in our community, and Marylu Dykstra told us all about Lowell's art cooperative, Flat River Gallery and Framing.

The Lowell Rotary Club went on a field trip this week. We visited Boulder Ridge Wild Animal Park where we heard from Josh Baker who shared the history of the park and filled us in on what might be next for this Alto destination.

Insider tip: If you want to see the giraffes, be sure to go when it is at least 55 degrees out. Any colder and the giraffes generally stay inside where they can be cozy and warm!

We were all smiles last week as we helped spruce up Lowell by collecting trash along Main Street/M-21. We had a few special guests join us, including two scholarship winners and their moms as well as Robyn from Fountain View of Lowell.

The Patrick Coffey Agency of Farm Bureau Insurance helped secure $2,000 for the Englehardt Library’s youth food program.

At our meeting yesterday, John Moy of the View Newspaper Group shared the history of the Lowell Ledger and its commitment to the community.

We also recognized a few more Paul Harris Fellows and enjoyed some B.C. Pizza.

We have an exciting July meeting line-up up with a presentation about Heidi's and a trip Boulder Ridge planned! See you there!

At our annual picnic this week, we enjoyed some boisterous singing led by Jim Hodges and were introduced to the 2026-27 leadership team.

We also honored Christine Beachler and Denise Dommer as this year's Paul Harris Fellows in recognition of their years of contributions to the community. Thank you ladies for your unwavering commitment to Service Above Self!
