🌵🔥 WHY DO WE CALL IT A HEAVY 15K? 🔥🌵

Because 9.3 miles just wouldn’t be heavy enough. 😏

The Lone Tree Reckoning Heavy 15K is officially:

🔥 11.1 GLORIOUS MILES! 🔥

Yep. You read that right.

11.1 miles of rugged trails, climbs, rolling terrain, cactus-lined stretches, fast sections and beautiful ranch views.

It’s longer than a traditional 15K.
It’s tougher than your average trail race.
And it’s going to be one heck of a good time.

🌵 11.1 miles. One Heavy 15K. 🌵

🔔 RUN WITH A LOVELAND TRADITION ❤️🤍💙

The Bell Ringer 2-Mile isn’t just about crossing a finish line. It’s about keeping a piece of Loveland history alive.

Loveland is the last community carrying on its Bell Ringing tradition—a tradition tied to the end of World War I and the observance of Armistice Day.

On race day, our Bell Ringers will line the start and finish, ringing their bells as runners and walkers come through. 🔔

Then, in the early morning hours on Veterans Day, the tradition continues as Bell Ringers travel through Loveland between 4–6 AM, ringing their bells in remembrance of the end of the war and in honor of those who served.

❤️🤍💙 This is more than a 2-mile run.
🔔 It’s history.
🔔 It’s remembrance.
🔔 It’s a Loveland tradition worth continuing.

Join us November 7 for the Bell Ringer 2-Mile Fun Run/Walk and be part of something uniquely Loveland.

🏃 Runners and walkers welcome
❤️Come out in support of our veterans

🚨 COURSE UPDATE: WE’RE GOING HEAVY! 🌵⛰️

The Lone Tree Reckoning is getting a little update.

The Half Marathon is officially becoming the Lone Tree Reckoning Heavy 15K!

Why “Heavy”? Because this isn’t your average 15K. 😏

You’ll still get the rugged trails, climbs, rolling terrain, fast meadow sections, cactus-lined stretches and beautiful ranch views we’ve been working hard to create — just packed into a course that comes in a little shorter than a traditional half marathon.

Same reckoning. New distance.

🌵 Heavy 15K
🌵 5K
📅 November 14

And trust us… you probably won’t cross the finish line wishing we had added another two miles. 😂

If you were already registered for the Half Marathon, we’ll be reaching out with more information about the change.
