We can’t let today go by without wishing a very Happy Birthday to the backbone of DELTA since Day 1, Coach J!

Our kids are beyond grateful for everything you do for them on a daily basis from the basketball court and everywhere in between. Thank you for always showing up, believing in them, and giving your time and energy to help them grow every day.

The impact you’ve made on these kids and our community means more than words can explain. We appreciate everything you do for DELTA.

What an incredible way to close out the school year! Our End-of-the-School-Year Retreat was filled with faith, fellowship, confidence, sisterhood, self-care, and unforgettable memories for our girls. 💕

A huge thank you to Texas Roadhouse, The Gruv, and Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for generously sponsoring the food and desserts, helping us provide this experience free to the community. 🍽️🍩

Yesterday was bittersweet, as it was Coach Drew’s last day with our Hoops & Homework program at DELTA, and it’s safe to say the kids are going to miss him a lot.

Every kid has always loved working with him, no matter if it was in the classroom or on the basketball court. He brought the same energy and patience every single day and really took the time to help each kid grow, improve, and believe in themselves.

You could tell how much he cared by the work he put in daily. From helping with school work to staying engaged during basketball activities, he always showed up for the kids and they gravitated toward him because of it.

We appreciate everything you’ve done for DELTA and the impact you made on so many of our students. Wishing you nothing but success in your next chapter, Drewski!🧡🖤

Today at the Delta Foundation After School Tutoring Program, we took time to celebrate the hard work, growth, and dedication of our students. While not everyone received an award, every child’s effort matters and every student has value. We are proud of all of our scholars and look forward to continuing to help them learn, grow, and succeed. 📚❤️

Today was a bittersweet day at DELTA, as we celebrated Ms. Darlia’s final day with our Hoops & Homework after-school program!

Over the past year, she has played an incredible role in the growth and development of so many of our students, through her dedication to reading literacy and education. Her patience, consistency, and care have made a lasting impact on the lives of our kids both inside and outside of the classroom.

We’re beyond thankful for everything she has poured into our program and the countless young people she’s helped along the way. Ms. Darlia will always be a part of the DELTA Foundation family!🧡🖤
