This is what eight weeks of showing up looks like.
The closing session of Building Cycles of Success® was everything we hoped it would be and more. Our students rose to the occasion and presented what they learned this summer — and what they showed us left no doubt. This knowledge is theirs now. For life. 💜
From how money works to banking, credit, investing, and entrepreneurship — these young people absorbed it all. And on closing day, they proved it. Every presentation was scored and every score was rewarded, because in this program effort is never overlooked, no one leaves empty handed, and hard work always pays off. 💰
And to close out the summer in the most fitting way possible — every student opened their very own bank account before leaving. Because when you spend eight weeks learning how money works, it is only right that your earnings have a place to grow. 🏦
Chandra Stroud and the entire A Hand Up Community Resource Center family could not be more proud of these young people. They came in as students. They are leaving as the next generation of financially empowered leaders. And we cannot wait to see what they do next. 💜
