On yesterday's post we had a comment from Jill Warner that read-
"My Grandma Liz Bailey, used to take me to mass with her in the morning when I was 5. She watched me while my parents worked. I must have asked her too many questions because I remember telling her all the stations of the cross and then naming the saints on the altar. I was in church sometime later with my parents for someone’s wedding and I was telling my mom all the stations and the saints. When I got near the top I told my mom we would see that lady (Mary) later because Grandma Bailey said she’s the lady who cuts the cakes at weddings! So many good memories there!"

After a bit of repair, where needed, the Stations of the Cross are back up and looking brilliant!! I asked the contractor how much a station weighed...what's your guess?

Tomorrow, Tuesday, 10/13 please join us for the Ladies of Goos Shepherd Card Party For a Cause!! Doors to Lehman Hall open at 10:30am. Admission is only $8 which includes lunch and a door prize Drawing ticket. There will be Pull Tabs, Cake Wheel, 50/50 and raffles. 50% of the proceeds will benefit Kentuckiana Pug Rescue -KPR License #0032 All are welcome to join us for a fun afternoon!

Bunny Leep is hard charging this morning getting the grounds mowed which can only mean Patsy and Buzz Unclebach are somewhere on the grounds pulling weeds and detailing. A BIG thank you to you as well as Don and Connie Cockeril and Dennis Cassidy!! These folks alternate taking on the groundskeeper rolls at Good Shepherd!!! Well done guys!!!
