Mentor Monday Spotlight 🦆

This week we’re happy to highlight Landon Crenshaw, a Delta Waterfowl Three Notch’d Chapter youth mentor.

He graduated high school early. Growing up, he primarily deer hunted, but he fell in love with duck hunting at the age of 16. Since graduating, he has worked full-time as a mechanic and has been with Delta for the past year.

Landon also volunteers to help introduce others to duck hunting. Some of his favorite moments with Delta have been helping people get their first birds and taking them on their first duck hunt.

His passion for hunting started at a young age because of his dad, who first introduced him to the outdoors and hunting tradition that continues to mean so much to him today.

Thank you Landon for being a dedicated volunteer to the Three Notch’d Chapter.

Mentor Monday Spotlight 🦆

This week we’re happy to highlight Dillon Conway, Delta Waterfowl Three Notch’d Chapter’s event coordinator.

Dillon is currently an active-duty Marine who oversees marksmanship training for the United States Marine Corps and has served for the past eight years. He began hunting on his family farm at a very young age, often being carried around in his dad’s baby carrier, and that is where his love for the outdoors first began. He has been a dedicated waterfowl hunter for more than 15 years. In his free time, he enjoys playing ice hockey and softball, competitive shooting, and spending time on the lake with his family.

He joined Delta Waterfowl after attending an incredible veteran goose hunt two years ago.

As a young hunter, Dillon was focused on harvesting the biggest buck or the most ducks. However, after his first experience with the chapter, he realized that helping others experience the outdoors is far more rewarding. Being able to mentor new hunters and help them harvest their first birds means more to him than any trophy he could ever hang on the wall.

His favorite experiences with Delta Waterfowl cannot be narrowed down to just one moment. For him, it is every opportunity the chapter has to come together, build lifelong friendships, and create unforgettable memories for hunt participants.

Thank you Dillon for being a dedicated volunteer to the Three Notch’d Chapter.

Mentor Monday Spotlight 🦆

This week we’re happy to highlight Kady Arndt, a Delta Waterfowl Three Notch’d Chapter youth mentor.

Kady has been duck hunting for one season, although she has spent her whole life in the woods hunting. She currently works at Grub Hill Truck Repair as a painter while also running her own small side business. In her free time, she enjoys riding four-wheelers, working on her truck, playing softball, and spending plenty of money preparing for upcoming hunting seasons.

She has been with Delta for one duck season and volunteers because she enjoys helping and teaching others who are dedicated and truly want to learn how to hunt. She is also passionate about teaching the younger generation the importance of hunting safety and responsibility in the woods to help keep the outdoors safe and enjoyable for every hunter.

Her favorite moment as a volunteer was taking one of her good friends duck hunting for the first time. It was a beautiful morning with ducks flying all day, and her friend was able to get his very first duck.

Thank you Kady for being a dedicated volunteer to the Three Notch’d Chapter.
