🏎️ Pack 183’s Pinewood Derby was a wonderful success! We couldn’t have asked for better weather, more creative cars, or more fun packed into one morning!

A BIG congratulations to AOL Dylan Earley, who won second place in the district spelling bee! 🐝

Congratulations, Dylan, we are so proud of you! 👏🏼

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to all the 30 spellers who participated in tonight's 2026 LCPS Spelling Bee, especially these three!

Tonight, Aiden West (M-NES), Dylan Earley (TJES), and Lila Garnett (LCMS) competed for 7 intense rounds of spelling! After nearly an hour-and-a-half and 100+ words later, Aiden secured the first-place trophy, while Dylan finished in second, and Lila in third.

Aiden correctly spelled words like "Medusa," "Perceptible," and Hydrophobia" to take home the title! He will now represent LCPS at the Richmond Raceway Regional Spelling Bee in late March.

Our September pack meeting was a fun and enrgetic time building boats from recycled materials and racing them in our raingutter regatta. It was fantastic to see our scouts working hard to modify their boats for faster results on the water. Special thanks to our den chiefs from Scouts BSA Louisa VA for helping make this happen! 💙💛

Last night, Pack 183 had the privilege of holding the American flag during the national anthem at Louisa County High School’s home football game.
