Today is Arbor Day! The City of Lonsdale held a tree planting ceremony at Jaycee Park this afternoon. Some Lonsdale Lions attended to represent & support the positive impact trees have for our environment! We are grateful for the partnership with the City, & we appreciate the Public Works Department for all the hard work they put in to make our parks beautiful!

Lions Micki & Kari also serve on the Lonsdale Park Board!

Lonsdale Lions President Alan Fitterer started this project & teams up with the Lonsdale Mackenthun’s! The community members & fellow Lions continue to donate toward this amazing use of recycled plastic bags.

Thank you for coming out to our first Earth Day - Kids free planting event this evening! It was a fun time & perfect weather! We had special volunteers assisting - thank you Lonsdale Ambassadors & Candidates, & 4H Club members!! Also A HUGE shoutout to Perch & Propagate for their partnership with this event - THANK YOU SO MUCH! Make sure you check out their first ever greenhouse sale on May 9!! 🍃🌱🌳🌎
