YMCA Summer Day Camp registration opens on Feb 9. Our camp staff have simplified options this year and focused on giving families fun, full-day camp options that make life a little less stressful. Here's what's new this summer:

• Register for day camp by March 13 at noon and save $15 per week of camp. Plus, the Y no longer charges a summer camp registration fee!
• More Kinder Camp (ages 3 to entering kindergarten). We are adding Kinder Camp locations in Longmont, Johnstown and Boulder as well as continuing at the Lafayette Y.
• More Flexibility: Camp Noco and Kinder Camp now have part-time options.
• More Field Trips: YMCA Camp Noco campers will have more adventures than ever!
• More Locations: We are thrilled to add an Erie location in 2026. We will see you at Red Hawk Elementary.
• Improved Registration Experience: The Y is launching a new registration system in early February. This will make signing up for camp so much easier for our families.

You can visit our camp pages to see updated options, prices, dates and more. Again, you will be able to register for day camp starting Feb 9, and you will enjoy discounted pricing until March 13. Overnight camp is already open for registration.

With the Jan 30 Congressional funding deadline approaching, Congress is making final decisions on the federal budget. Federal funding streams like the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) and Head Start help working families afford care while parents work and contribute to the economy.

Right now, Congress has two issues to address for the child care system: deciding the funding amount for FY26 AND ensuring the timely delivery of approved funds. Your voice matters on both.

Families depend on these programs so parents can work, children can learn, and communities can thrive. Employers and child care providers rely on timely, predictable funding to keep classrooms open, pay staff, and maintain quality. States, providers, and families need certainty and stability— not disruption.

Tell Congress the child care system should continue receiving support and that funding should be released to states without delays. https://brnw.ch/21wZnlc
