This is not a People First event but a very awesome opportunity that Delta offers ✈️ Thank you, Sandy for sharing. Please send inquiries to the email listed below to sign up for any upcoming dates in Sept, Oct, Nov.
Hello All,
The Delta Airlines “Taking Flight Tour” has a few spaces open for a day of family fun on Saturday, September 12, 2026 from 10 am-12 pm. We welcome all ages of children and adults with special needs.
Delta employees will take you and your family member who has autism or other special needs on a tour to navigate through Atlanta's Worldport airport. It is a great opportunity to have fun and help families navigate through the airport with less stress.
We will also discuss safety practices as you and your family prepare for any trip in the future. There will be time to sit in the captain's chair in the cockpit, meet crew members and take pictures. Registration is open for October 3 and November 7, 2026 tours.
Please send all requests and questions to attend to: [email protected]. Please note that space is limited and the tours fill up quickly. Once we receive your e-mail, we will let you know if space is available and you will receive a confirmation. Please leave a contact phone number in your email. In your request, please let us know how many family members will attend. The tour is free!
Location: International Terminal, in the F Lobby, Hartsfield Jackson International Airport
Meeting Place: In front of the Sweet Auburn Market near the Delta ticket counter.
Please arrive by 9:50am on September 12, 2026. We will provide gate passes for families to attend. There is hourly parking at the International Terminal.
We are looking forward to seeing you. Please tell your family and friends!
