Join the Ray Barron Strength & Honor Fund for a fun day at the shooting range! This is our first-ever clay-shooting contest and is sure to be an annual tradition.

DATE: July 25, 2026

TIME: Check-in at 1 p.m.; shoot at 2 p.m.

LOCATION: Colorado Clays, 13600 Lanewood St., Brighton, CO 80603

COST: $75 per person;
EACH PERSON MUST REGISTER SEPARATELY

Today is a big day! We're awarding our fifth $10,000 scholarship in Coach Barron's name, AND we're recognizing our first-ever girl wrestler!

Congratulations to Anne Wilson of Haxtun High School. Anne placed third in the 4A Girls CHSAA State Wrestling Tournament and has used the lessons wrestling has taught her to overcome a challenging background and pursue the person she wants to be.

This is exciting news. We think this is Coach Barron's first-ever NCAA tournament qualifier. Jack Forbes won the 2020 CHSAA State Championship with Coach in his corner and did it again in 2021 with Luke Barron and John Alley in his corner and Coach on his shoulder. We're sure Coach will be with him next weekend in Cleveland. GO JACK!! 💚🤍💙🩶

OREM, Utah — Utah Valley University will send five wrestlers to Cleveland next week after it was announced the Kael Bennie and Jack Forbes both received at-large berths on Tuesday.

Tonight was Barron’s Brawl with Columbine, Fort Lupton, and Brighton. Thank you, Fort Lupton High School Bluedevil Wrestling for hosting! Brighton took home the saw commemorating the grind all these wrestlers faced tonight! Good luck to all at regionals next week!

Coaches: During these no-contact days, take a few minutes to nominate your senior wrestler for the RBS&HF Scholarship. Boys and girls. Winning records and tough-lesson records. Big schools and small schools. All that's required is that they're graduating in 2026 and will use the funds toward higher education, be it a trade school, junior college, or university. Don't short-change your wrestlers. This money helps a lot! Nominations close 12/30 at midnight! No late submissions!

Looking back at our past honorees, you can see the diversity in skills on the mat and commitment to doing their best in their day-to-day lives. This isn't about championships; it's about grit, character, selflessness, and dedication. Strength & Honor.

If there's one consistent thing about the wrestling family, it's that we might compete on the mat, but we support each other. I'm sure you've heard about the Central Grand Junction wrestling team's accident this weekend after they finished the Arapahoe High School Invitational. There are wrestlers facing serious—even life-threatening—injuries. The Ray Barron Strength & Honor Fund will be supporting their mission to help these families with a donation, and we hope you'll consider it, too.
