Nourish Meals on Wheels enriches the lives of older adults (ages 60 and up) in South Metro Denver by providing fresh, nutritious meals as well as services that promote dignity, well-being, and independence. Our volunteer delivery drivers, who are often the only people our clients see during the day - help counteract social isolation as well as provide a daily wellness check. We ask clients to cont

An Nourish Night Out, on Thursday, June 18, the evening begins with a cocktail hour featuring hosted beer and wine, soulful bites, live music, and time to connect with friends old and new.

Thoughtfully prepared by Executive Chef Andrew Forlines and the Nourish team, the evening's menu is inspired by the comfort, care, and familiar flavors that often become meaningful memories around the table.

Today, a team of 15 US Navy service members spent the day volunteering with Nourish Meals on Wheels, and their impact could be felt in every corner of our operation.

From preparing delivery bags and packaging bread and fresh oranges, to helping package 809 hot meals and 624 frozen meals for the weekend, they stepped in wherever help was needed. The team also helped deliver six meal routes across our community and created tray favors to brighten future client deliveries.

Together, they dedicated 75 hours of service in a single day to help ensure older and homebound adults received not only scratch-made meals, but also care, connection, and kindness.

For many clients, the volunteer at the door may be the only in-person interaction they have that day. Thank you to this incredible group for showing up with compassion, teamwork, and a true spirit of service. We are so grateful for your support and hope to welcome you back again soon. 💙
